We did it. We made it through the 1st two weeks! A few hiccups along the way, a day under the Governor's Directive, and lots of laughs and learning.
I am so pleased with how well the students are adapting to new expectations. Thank you to our parents and staff for making this a positive transition. This past week the American Legion provided our 1st grade students with new backpacks! We greatly appreciate their support of our young learners. Last week we also held our Student Council elections. I am so proud of the students were running for a position. Our student council plays an important role in creating a positive school culture. Did you know that last year's senior class graduated with 36 dual enrollment credits. This means that a handful of students were able to take college classes during the day. The classes count as one their high school graduation requirements as well earning a college credit at a greatly reduced price. Any high school student who meets requirements put in place by the college has this opportunity.
